Michael DaCosta is a Business Valuation Analyst with Restivo Monacelli, an innovative tax, accounting and business advisory firm with offices in Providence, RI and Boca Raton, FL.
As a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with experience in various forensic, litigation, and valuation analyses, Michael navigates through complex issues and leverages his depth of expertise to provide comprehensive valuations for matters pertaining to estate planning and gifting, matrimonial litigation, shareholder disputes, mergers and acquisitions, buy-sell agreements, and bank financing.
Clients looking to buy, sell or merge a business; expand, secure capital and attract new partners; increase their company’s value or develop and implement succession or exit plans turn to Michael to oversee both the planning and execution of operations for all their diverse matters and needs.
Michael graduated Magna Cum Laude from Fairleigh Dickinson University with both his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and his Masters of Science in Accounting. In addition to being a CPA, he also holds an Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) credential granted by the AICPA, and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) credential given by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Prior to joining Restivo Monacelli, Michael worked as a Senior Analyst at one of the largest independent public accounting and advisory services firms in the U.S. In his spare time, he coaches basketball and baseball for local schools and recreational programs, as well as volunteers with Best Day Foundation, RAINE Foundation and the Special Olympics.
