Human Resources Administrator, Providence, RI

Restivo Monacelli LLP, an innovative tax, accounting and business advisory firm, is currently seeking a Human Resources Administrator in its Providence, RI office.

 

Position Summary:

 

The Human Resources Administrator will manage, streamline and enhance the firm’s Human Resources processes and functions. He/She will also develop strategies and tactics to achieve a high-performance culture that emphasizes superior client service, productivity, standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and retention of a highly engaged team. Primary Responsibilities:

 

  • Processing payroll, sick and vacation allotments, status changes, and benefits administrations

  • Assisting with open position recruitment, including the interview processes and onboarding of new hires

  • Conducting exit strategies and determining ways to maximize employee retention

  • Building and maintaining the firm’s culture to achieve a highly-engaged team that is focused on providing superior client service, continuous improvement, growth and development

  • Provides administrative assistance as needed, including coordinating meetings, training and other activities

 

Successful Candidates Will Possess the Following:

  • Bachelor’s degree; SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certificates preferred

  • 3+ years working in Human Resources

  •  Working knowledge of state and federal employment laws

  • Experience with workers compensation, FMLA and disability administration

  • Ability to learn quickly, problem solve and work both independently and as a team in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment

  • Exceptional organizational skills

  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Effective problem solving and conflict resolution skills

  • Attention to details and accuracy

  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office

 

This position is available immediately. Hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Salary commensurate with experience and skill set.
