In addition to his 40+ years of accounting and tax experience, Ed is a prominent business consultant. As an entrepreneur and investor in restaurants, real estate ventures and construction projects, Ed leverages his deep knowledge, resources and extensive network of business relationships - many of which span years - to provide clients with creative solutions and opportunities to maximize their growth potential and long-term success.

Ed advises clients nationwide on how to best position themselves in the marketplace in order to obtain financing, raise equity and capital, maximize tax credits and minimize tax consequences. Companies routinely seek guidance from Ed as they plan for expansions, reorganizations, or undertake new business endeavors. He specializes in complex auditing and taxation issues and frequently guides clients on how to take advantage of tax credits for low-income housing developments and historic properties.

Their team’s significant business expertise and diverse skill sets provide added value and innovative solutions that drive positive results. Under Ed's leadership, the firm has consistently grown and evolved to be top business advisors for clients across the country.

Ed’s public accounting career started in 1979 and has included positions with national firms like Christianson & Co. (later acquired by Ernst & Young) and Laventhol & Horwath.
