Restivo Monacelli, LLP currently has an opening for an entry level accountant who has completed a five-year program in Accounting. The successful candidate will have the following background:

  • Is a CPA Candidate
  • Has excellent Organizational skills
  • Outstanding Communication skills
  • Preference will be given to those candidates who have interned at an accounting firm.

Senior Accountant
Senior Accountants perform most work assigned with a minimum of assistance. They often lead one or more Staff Accountants, instruct them in work to be performed, review the work done, and direct necessary revisions. Seniors are required to make decisions on all but the most unusual accounting and auditing matters. Candidates will provide a full range of professional accounting and auditing services including performing audits and reviews, and compilations of financial statement for companies in a wide variety of industries. Work requires interpersonal skills and the ability to work comfortably with a client's staff.

Staff Accountant
Staff Accountants have demonstrated an ability to capably perform the functions of a staff assistant and to take on certain more complex tasks. Staff Accountants are given a wide variety of diversified accounting and tax assignments under the supervision of different professionals. Performance is judged based on the quality of work, application of accounting knowledge, and ability to meet time constraints.

Bookkeeper
Performs the day-to-day full-charge bookkeeping functions for the Firm's clientele; records transactions within established systems and procedures; manages the computerized internal accounting system; helps the client as well as internal staff prepare financial reports and forecasts; keeps statistical, financial records.

Administrative Assistant
Performs secretarial work of considerable difficulty and involving some independent judgment for the Partners and Firm Administrator. This person performs general office functions; related work as required such as filing, copying, mail assembly, typing, running errands, facility maintenance and other work as directed. The Administrative Assistant answers telephones; greets clients and visitors; receives and transmits messages; maintains Partners' calendars; receives and routes mail; and maintains supplies.
