Jack Cacchiotti brings more than just an impressive 25 years of public accounting experience to Restivo Monacelli. He also offers a unique business perspective rooted in his tenure as Controller for several divisions of a NASDAQ publicly traded company.
His primary role at Restivo Monacelli is leading the firm’s valuation department—a highly specialized practice area. Jack is one of the few Rhode Island-based CPAs who have attained the highest recognition from the most rigorous valuation accrediting organizations. As a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) who is also Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Jack provides Restivo Monacelli’s clients with an increased level of confidence when they need an innovative expert versed in valuation theory.
Jack is a trusted advisor who offers sound opinions across a multitude of industries—delivering complex business valuations and providing litigation support to successfully resolve shareholder disputes involving substantial businesses. In addition, Jack concentrates his efforts in assisting clients with mergers and acquisitions, as well as financing and management consulting.
Jack’s valuation expertise has played a critical role in many major valuations for purposes of estate planning and gifting, succession planning, divorce litigation, arbitration assistance, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings and bank financings. He is a frequent lecturer at various seminars sponsored by the Rhode Island Bar Association, and has co-authored the chapter entitled “Deposing Accountants and Economists” in A Practical Guide to Discovery & Depositions in Rhode Island published by MCLE New England.
A resident of East Greenwich, Jack is a member of the Quidnessett Country Club. He is also a volunteer with the Big Brothers of Rhode Island where he has been active since 2001.
